To start things off, I just want to say that this game is incredible, great in almost every way a Metroidvania can be in my opinion (a balance between being a platformer and a Metroidvania). Fast forward a few minutes to when you get to play and that feeling of relaxation becomes a feeling of anticipation, excitement, and eagerness to just see more and just play the game, it was a mystical way to start a video game and sure enough, the more you want the more the Messenger provides! When I opened the Messenger for the very first time, I heard, saw and felt that 8bit classic UI and music and I was surprised at first but then no more, but rather I became nostalgic and impressed by how the game starts off and by its UI especially and even the initial cutscenes which were made using the same technology, that kind of intro made me feel so relaxed and at ease, it was very nice.
